A mini pig is any breed of pig that weighs under 300 pounds. Breeds that are sold as ‘mini pigs’ are KuneKune, Juliana and Pot Belly. Although, buying a pig that is labeled as a ‘mini pig’ does not mean the pig will stay small forever.

Many breeders underfeed their pigs, creating a malnourished pig to make a smaller looking pig to please buyers. This causes various health issues for the pig, some of which can be fatal.
